I cannot believe it has been almost 6 months since DH and I were in France. We had such a fantastic time in the south of France and I simply cannot wait to go back. I will slowly post photos of our trip over the next few days!
DH and I left Aix en Provence for Nice after spending our last morning in Provence strolling around Aix's awesome food markets, followed by a picnic at Parc Rambot. On our second day in Nice, we visited the three closest towns to Nice which were all within 10-15 minutes drive away: Villefranche sur Mer, Beaulieu sur Mer and St Jean Cap Ferrat. We originally planned to go to Paloma Beach in St Jean Cap Ferrat, however it was full so we went to a public beach in Villefranche instead. One thing that really amazed me was the presence of beautiful deep fuchsia bougainvilleas in every town. I saw this beautiful tall bougainvillea covered wall on my way down to the beach and could not resist taking some photos.
